October saw the semi-finals & finals of the OULS Workshop Novice competition place.
All participants worked extremely hard and the standard of advocacy was amazing.
The semi-finals of the weekend were Elizabeth Walker and Chloe Lydell from the Manchester team and Charlotte Eker & Yusif Alhani from the mash-up team. Well done to both teams.
The runners-up of the competition are Laurie Ketley & Tom Morris from the London team.
And the winners of the first OULS Workshop Novice Competition are Isabelle Hoyet & Jamie McDonald.
Julie Jones from Bevan Brittan LLP who helped judge the competition said 'the level of advocacy she saw on Sunday was highly commendable and found it very difficult to call the winners.'
The OULS would like to congratulate all our participants on taking part from the workshops to the winners. Well done everyone!
