Who are we?

 

We are an active and supportive student led society open to OU students and alumni. We aim to promote passion for the law and legal education; and provide a forum for like-minded law students to connect with each other and network with legal professionals.

What we do:

  • Deliver mooting workshops and competitions for members to practice their advocacy skills to enhance their CVs and prepare for external competitions

  • Host webinars on various legal topics including securing pupillage and developing advocacy

  • Invite guest speakers to provide insight into their legal careers 

  • Facilitate tours of the four inns of court for aspiring barristers and tours of the Royal Courts of Justice and the Supreme Court of the United kingdom for aspiring legal professionals

  • Collaborate with educational institutions to provide insight into the various paths to qualification including the BTC (for barristers) and the SQE for solicitors
