About the event

Come along on Monday 15th February at 7pm to hear Steve Vear MBE JP (a fellow OU student!) who has been a magistrate for more than 10 years, discuss the work of a magistrate and how you could apply to become one!

Gain an insight into the work of a magistrate and a typical (if that exists) day in the life of a magistrate.

Steve sits in both the criminal and family court as both a winger and presiding justice. Steve is currently Bench Chairman of the North Hampshire Bench and under this extra leadership responsibility looks after around 120 magistrates in the Hampshire area! So he certainly knows his stuff!
