Having taken over the OULS Chair post last year, I am really proud of the growth that the group has experienced in that time. We have gone from having no sponsorship agreements in place at that time to £3000 in recurring annual funding of this sort, have grown our membership by a little under 100 members, and we have launched our public lecture series with a range of hugely popular instalments including various Members of Parliament. Our number of events has grown substantially and, for the first time, we successfully delivered the OULS Summer Ball.

If elected for a second year in the post, it will be my plan to focus on growing the group's sponsors and its mooting offering.
